Overview
The structural foam gas-tight cover is 5/8″ in thickness with a diameter of 20-1/2″ for use with 18″ diameter Jackel basins. Reinforced ribs enhance the structural integrity of the gas-tight cover sump pump lid.

How to Install
To install the Jackel SF2000E Gas-Tight Sump Basin Cover, begin by preparing the pump’s power cord, discharge pipe, and vent pipe to fit through the designated openings in the cover. Apply seal tape to the basin rim, position the cover over the pipes, and secure it with bolts, taking care not to overtighten. Install the flanges for each pipe and the cord grommet to ensure a gas-tight seal. Complete the setup by connecting the check valve and discharge plumbing.
Jackel gas-tight lid provides a gas and radon tight seal to any of our 18" diameter basins. Constructed from injection molded polyethylene structural foam, the Jackel gas-tight cover will provide strength and reliability for decades. Also, it come with several fittings, making it extremely versatile.
